Hello to all.

This next year seems to be great for hiring in Southern California, so I thought I would pass on the good news. I have posted this info on other Ls, so if you saw this elsewhere, please delete with my apologies. There is a dozen full time positions in Southern California for next year. We have one at the South Orange County Community College District (Irvine Valley campus - pending funding). We do all AFA events, RT, Parli and Policy. If you want to apply and get requirements, please contact our District office at Saddleback College 949/582-4500 and ask for HR. We would like a huge pool. We will close apps in mid March, interview in late April - early May 

Additionally, there are full time forensic jobs (some tenure, some not - I won't be responsible for specifics, please call the schools) at: Cal State Long Beach, El Camino, Moorpark, Mt SAC, Pasadena City College, Palomar, LA Valley College. There are also non forensic jobs at Riverside City, Mira Costa and PCC(?). I also believe there will be a ton of part time positions available when the full time instructors get hired (since many are now freeway flyers) or maybe even a one year emergency hire. It is possible to make in the high thirties doing part time work. Anyone interested in working/living here should be advised to put their name into the part time pools of the community colleges now for the fall.

Diablo Valley also has a job in Northern California.
