The International Debate Education Association Conference was held in Dubrovnik, Croatia, between October 17-19, 2003. The event was entitled, "Debate and Argumentation: Opening Minds, Borders, and Societies." This part of Croatia is on the Adriatic Sea and is called Dalmatia. Unfortunately, my camera broke down as I was leaving. Luckily Chris Baron of Towson University and the Baltimore Urban Debate League had a camera and I grabbed his photos. All the good work here is his. I also took a side trip into Montenegro, and I was able to find a few pictures from the spots I visited. I promised pictures, and here they are! Thanks again to Chris Baron. David Williams is sending me more pictures of the conference itself which I will add soon.
