Today is the day that it starts.

 

Students at the National High School Public Debate Workshop as well as students at the National Middle School Public Debate Workshop began arriving. Signs were posted around and parents with students as well as taxis from the airport found Chittenden Hall where registration was.

 

There are campus tours, introductory activities, and then a dorm meeting tonight. Dinner tonight is the frst meal for the arriving students. Each student is also being given a fan to help keep cool (temperature only 84 degrees today) as well as a chance to meet the Resident Assistants in the dorm and other staff.

 

The faculty is also arriving today and settling into Redstone Hall. They will be making a few last minute changes to curriculum as well as a copies of material to be handed out tomorrow.

 

I am asking people to start snapping photos of events and handing them on to me. Look for some of those tomorrow.
