I have been working closely with the middle school public debate students. They have been working hard and playing hard for the past few days. We have students from the Burlington area, California, Ohio and Washington DC. They were assigned a great deal of reading and argument writing and pulled through after working hard into the late hours of the night here in Chittenden dorms. They also went downtown to see the city of Burlington after dinner. It was a long walk downtown but even being tired they all did their "dorm work" and came to lab this morning and participated in some awesome debates on whether or not junk food should be banned from schools.
