Two teams attended the University of Central Oklahoma tournament this weekend in Oklahoma City. The team of Matt Sweeney and Charles Hoag reached the quarterfinal round and finished Fifth in the tournament. They lost their quarterfinal debate to eventual tournament champion Kansas State University. Matt Sweeney was the #10 speaker in the tournament while Charles Hoag was #12. The team of Aaron Fishbone and Shawn Wilkerson finished with a 2-4 record.

The LDU-sponsored website, DEBATE CENTRAL, is now the largest and most used debate website in the world. The site has been averaging over 15,000 hits a day for the last month.
