At West Point three out of the four UVM teams reached the elimination rounds. Meanwhile, the totally novice team of Mark Douglas (Middlebury) and Peter Winfield were 4-2 in the JV division, but then met the other UVM JV team of Anthony Pagan (novice) and Jaime Robertson, with Anthony and Jaime advancing since they had one more speaker point.
