The Voice of Edwin is the weekly newsletter of the Edwin Lawrence Debate Union at the University of Vermont, an endowed co-curricular program which trains students in debating and sponsors national competition and community events. STRONG SHOWING IN OREGON

Shawn Wilkerson and Aaron Fishbone put in a strong performance out in Portland, Oregon last weekend. Attending the tournament at Lewis & Clark they finished Fifth in a strong field and both won speaker awards. Aaron was the #4 speaker in the varsity division and Shawn was #9. They continued their strong showing on the negative, and were undefeated on that side this weekend.
Aaron is a junior from Long Island, NY and is LDU research director. Shawn is a junior from Burlington and is a new addition to the squad this year.
