COACHES EXPECTING BABY
Recently married Helen Morgan Parmett and Justin Morgan Parmett have announced that they are expecting a baby in May, 2004. Congratulations! No indication yet of name choices.
DEBATER HAS BABY
Michael Malone and his partner have had a lovely baby girl. The new arrival is keeping both Mom and Dad busy, although Mom was able to return to work.
ALUMNAE PLANS WEDDING
Lori Sherman is planning her wedding. She and Rob will be wed February 7, 2004. Contact Lori at vtsherman@hotmail.com about her plans.
ALUMNAE HAS WEDDING
Dawn Rabinowitz has married her beau Adam Norris. Their wedding was actually filmed for use in the TV program, A Wedding Story. Congratulations. Contact Dawn at flyingjustice33@MAC.com.
ALUMNI HAS BABY
This announcement is a little late, but worth the wait! At 11:44 p.m. on December 13, 2002, Daphne Hwang Spencer made her debut appearance, weighing in at 6 lbs. 8.3 ounces, and an impressive 19 inches in length (bigger than either of her parents were!). Daphne and mom (Cathy) came home on December 17, and her first night home was a long one for all concerned! The above photo shows Daphne is developing nicely. MEET THE PEOPLE OF THE LDU - ZOE ANDERSON, NOVICE DEBATER
This
is my second year at UVM, but I should be a junior by Winter Term, from taking
AP and summer classes. I am trying to graduate early for the 2006 Olympics which
are being held in Turino Italy. I like school, love philosophy and thrive on
competition. My main competitive field is Boarder-cross, a snowboarding discipline
which is almost just like Motocross; on snow. This last year I placed 3rd at
Nationals and hope to make it to World's this year in British Columbia (Boarder
X will be inducted into the 2006 Olympics). Aside from that, I have been campaigning
for Howard Dean and sell T-shirts in my free time to raise money for my trip
to BC in March! Until then, I hope to learn from my debating experiences to
maybe one day enter in the field of Law or Politics.
