The Voice of Edwin is the weekly newsletter of the Edwin Lawrence Debate Union at the University of Vermont, an endowed co-curricular program which trains students in debating and sponsors national competition and community events. The newsletter is published every Tuesday during the school year and infrequently at other times. Alfred C. 2001-2002 LDU DEBATE YEAR BEGINS WITH LARGE TURNOUT OF DEBATERS

With over 30 previous debaters on campus this year the LDU will have one of its largest squads ever. With so many returning debaters and a good number of new recruits expected the offices at Huber House are buzzing with activity.
