OTTER VALLEY & MT. ST. JOSEPH WIN VERMONT HIGH SCHOOL TITLES

Otter Valley Union High School won the Varity title and Mt. St. Joseph won the Novice title as the LDU hosted the Vermont State Debate Championship tournament this last Saturday. LDU coaches and debaters administered and judged the tournament. Otter Valley defeated Rutland High School in the last round to secure the title. Mt. St. Joseph scored a 2-1 victory over Hartford High School in the novice finals.
Plans for next year include: interactive television classes, televised debates, and increased outreach to new schools.
