The Voice of Edwin is the weekly newsletter of the Edwin Lawrence Debate Union at the University of Vermont, an endowed co-curricular program which trains students in debating and sponsors national competition and community events. OKLAHOMA CITY RESULTS

Hoag and Sweeney get their swerve on

Two teams attended the University of Central Oklahoma tournament this weekend in Oklahoma City. The team of Matt Sweeney and Charles Hoag reached the quarterfinal round and finished Fifth in the tournament. They lost their quarterfinal debate to eventual tournament champion Kansas State University. Matt Sweeney was the #10 speaker in the tournament while Charles Hoag was #12. The team of Aaron Fishbone and Shawn Wilkerson finished with a 2-4 record.
