This past weekend Portland State University hosted its 3rd annual Worlds Warmup British Parliamentary Debate Tournament.

The winner was

Seattle KS (James Kilcup and Sophia Sanders) on the topic: This House believes that indigenous populations should have seats in the UN General Assembly.

The other teams advancing to the final round were:

Alaska SH (Jim Stinson and Michaela Hernandez),

Regis BM (Kaleb Brooks and Kirk McGill) and

Portland RW (Rebecca Rudawitz and Kelly Welch).

The top speaker was Jim Stinson from Alaska.
