

The Urban Debate League experience should only be the beginning for students seeking to grow academically, intellectually, and personally through debate. After high school comes college, and there are many opportunities for students to continue their debate activities and even to receive financial aid for debating.
To establish a central placement service so that colleges and universities with forensic opportunities for the many talented students who are graduating from high school after participating in Urban Debate League programs around the nation. Students need to be able to take advantage of opportunities which exist and colleges and universities need access to this talented and ambitious pool of students.
This directory, put together by Jim Hanson of Whitman College, is a list of materials submitted by colleges and universities with debate and speech activities. While this is a large document, it can give you a lot of good leads on debating opportunities in college. Check it out and start contacting these schools.
We are constructing a list of schools who are interested in having UDL students apply for admission, financial aid, and scholarships.
