Lincoln/Douglas debate refers more to an organizational pattern than a type of debate. LD debate features two speakers, one on each side of a resolution. In the USA high school LD debate [National Forensics League] tends to focus on value propositions, while in college LD debate [National Forensics Association] tends to focus more on quasi-policy or policy propositions.
While styles might be different [speed of delivery, use of evidence, etc.] those engaged in policy-style LD debate can use most of the resources for policy debate. For those involved in value-oriented LD debate this page should be a valuable resource.
