Kit Sawers KRS@bickelbrewer.com, executive director of the Bickel & Brewer Foundation, has announced the 16 teams that are advancing to the next level of the competition.


The top four teams will fly to New York City and engage in the semifinals and finals, competing for large cash awards at a very festive event.

Thanks so much to all of you for submitting essays to the 2006-07

Bickel & Brewer/NYU National Public Policy Forum (NPPF).  Exactly 100 schools registered for the competition, and 38 new schools participated this year.  Our judges were impressed with the quality and creativity of your submissions--congratulations to all of you!


We are pleased to announce that the following schools have advanced to the NPPF's Sweet 16:

Maize High School--Maize, KS (Best Case: Mountains and Plains Region)

The Westminster Schools--Atlanta, GA (Best Case: Atlantic Region)

Trinity High School--Washington, PA (Best Case: Northeast Region)
